No matter what the case may be, if it is the stones or color etc, themselves that possess such energy or not, I have experienced consistent success by incorporating metaphysical elements into my spiritual work. From and anthropological stand point metaphysics in the form of gemstones, etc have been used for thousands of years by a diverse number of human groups. The collective and timeless use suggests much.
A huge part of being able to benefit from that, I believe is having a sensible awareness of the metaphysical self, ie understanding your current astrological/universal identity. Knowing about yourself will open the door to being able to tailor a spiritual and metaphysical regimen that is best for you.
