I was talking to my father a few weeks ago, he has become quite the unexpected confidant when it comes to social and spiritual liberation. I was raised Christian, at least by my Father, as are most Americans, especially black Americans. This created quite a troublesome childhood on up into early adulthood, spiritually speaking because I had a spiritual awareness that didn't fit into the mold of any man-made religion, and definitely not that of my strict Christian Father and his wife. My mother, who I lived with was raised under the Islamic faith, but, like most of her brothers and sisters has since abandoned it or converted to another religion. My mother never openly claimed a religion, and never seemed to be a spiritually involved or dedicated as I was.
Recently, though, I'd say in the past year or so, my Father has opened up and said that he shares most of my spiritual views. This awakening was prompted by me sharing the Zeitgeist Movie with him as well a number of his other close friends divulging their own spiritual awakenings. Since then we spend hours on the phone at a time covering everything from how I felt as a child when social and religious norms didn't coincide with what I felt to be true spiritually all the way to conspiracy speculation and the best ways to become liberated both spiritually and in our physical, social life styles. When I talk to him I get the same free flow of thought that I do whenever I sit down and write and article or entry for The Anthroblogogist site.
In our last conversation here are somethings I expressed while taking a spiritual journey. If you recall the article I wrote called The Reality of Revelations: A personal spiritual reflection, you'll know that I think of the Bible (and most other religious texts) as possibly being a truth inspired text that has been since manipulated for corrupt, unethical social purposes or created from the start for those purposes. Within this frame 
work I revisited the story of the Tower of Babble with my Father. I told him that separating people because tried to connect with the Highest Power/God didn't sound like the true Higher Power. If I were the Highest Power, and we all are of the Highest Power, I would delight in knowing that my creations wanted to connect to me. I think reconnecting with the Highest Power is one of if not, the purpose of existing. I couldn't fathom that any being we called God would punish us for trying to connect with him/her/it. I went on to say that this sounds like the doing of human kind, in the guise of corruption. The people who corrupted or created religious text for the purpose of controlling people and limiting their own individual power, simultaneously appointed themselves as God. Thus the story of the Tower of Babble tells me that corrupt people who wanted to control humanity and invoke an omniscient God like power over the world (see illuminati) saw that human beings were powerful, spiritual beings, created in God/The Highest Power's image, and able to connect with this power and one another, decided to destroy this connection by eliminating spiritual/telepathic communication. Leaving people unable to converse accept through languages which are so diverse they left humanity in a state of isolation from the collective and unable to reconnect with the Highest Power. That is the basis of the real story that I see through the corruption of Biblical text.
As time goes on it seems that most people grow farther and father from their created image, growing father away from God. The ability to communicate and understand spiritually becomes more lost as these abilities are replaced with dummy substitutes. As Christians we are told that speaking in tongues is the spiritual language of God, although we nor anyone else can understand what is being said. And the foolish sheep herded by the false corrupt self-appointed god, go on to babble and waste their time while truth continues to be changed before them. Does speaking in tongues as a spiritual language even make sense? NO! This is the dummy that was substituted for the real spiritual language of telepathic communication. The Highest Power has not mouth, tongue or lips, when you die, nor will you have them, there will be nothing with which to speak in tongues, so how is this a language of the spirit? The spirit must speak with out the body, and that is your biggest clue that you have been duped if you have bought into this.
Today is the day that the children of The Highest Power, close their mouths and open their spiritual minds, and being to talk and hear again with the spirit!
