Many people in many different cultures around the world have referred to the Body as a vessel, a temporary home for the spirit or soul. Even those of us who share this view have often been guilty of forgetting this. We abuse, poison, mutilate, and doubt our bodies. We take for granted how excellently they were designed. Other times we place so much emphasis on how the Body appears that we forget about the internal up keep, even further we forget that it is only a vessel, and that the spiritual contents are what really matters.
This is a collection of writings on the body, health and how to maintain it in this increasingly hostile world. One of the main themes you might notice is the fact that preservation of physical health often leads to or connects with the spirit.

God divided life into physiologically different beings for a reason. One of the greatest of these divisions is the issuing of the responsibility of bringing in new life to women. God excellently designed women for the task, and we should have faith in that design. This collection also contains, advice, and information about pregnancy, birth, and motherhood from a spiritual, natural and informed point of view. This is not your medicalized spoon-feed industry benefiting mumbojumbo...this is the basic truth. You will also find some of my own experiences scattered about in hopes to inspire and aid women who are becoming or hope to become mothers. YOU WERE MADE FOR IT!

Coconut oil, unlike most of the hydrogenated polyunsaturated oils found in supermarkets, does not tend to go to fat stores in the body, but instead is readily metabolized by the body for energy. My parents use this oil for weight loss. Once they came to my town for a visit and my father had lost a noticeable amount of weight, he was slim and trim, but I know neither of them actively or regularly work out. When I inquired about the change they said they swear by using coconut oil to loose weight. My father says he eats a few tablespoons of it a day, & his wife has changed to cooking with it as well.
Hemp is an underrated, over looked
ONLY 100% natural raw UNHEATED above the temp of 96 degrees has the health benefits that the other sites mention. Its sad that most people don't know that our stores are slowly killing us by robbing us of nutritional value even when we try to make health conscious choices. RAW honey can typically only be purchased from health stores or from bee keepers (of course I order my supply of 100% RAW, UNHEATED honey from ebay). I have been giving my daughter 100% raw honey from a natural beekeeper since she was a young infant with amazing health benefits. She just turned 1 year old and has never been sick (she is also
So, I ordered my Mooncup (UK, not to be confused with the Keeper's knock off) a while back. I got it from ebay, thats pretty much where I get everything since I have a very specific health oriented life style that most retail stores just can't accommodate. Those that do carry products I would purchase just don't do it at the right value to the customer. Any who, it arrived before my next period so I was able to try it out during the entire period. Since I have had my daughter my cramps have been extremely reduced, to the point when I am not aware of when my period starts. I used to be ready for it almost a day in advanced--but now its more of a bothersome surprise in the middle of the night in my bed. I have read in the cup support forums of women putting theirs in when they know they are due to start. Unlike a tampon the menstrual cup can be worn at anytime during your cycle without any of the health risks or discomfort in say, putting in a tampon before you've started. It also can be left in place for a good amount of time (up to 12 hrs) without needing to remove it, rinse/clean it, and reinsert; so its perfect for leaving in to catch your period, pun intended, right when it starts. I will consider this for cycle #2.

People often give props to Madam CJ Walker when they are celebrating their fake Black History Month (I'll explain that later). But I honestly feel that she did more of a disservice to black people than an aid. Creating something to make us look more white is nothing to be proud of. I would feel ok celebrating someone who was a pioneer to natural black hair care. Teaching us and creating product to help us care for our natural hair. Madam CJ Walker created a forum for everyone to sell out. If you are ashamed of your natural hair you are an Uncle Tom. Sorry, but thats the truth. You might act like you love yourself, your people and your history but can you do that and hate your uniquely black hair at the same time? I don't think so. Don't get me wrong, I am not playing that naptural nazi thing. I don't think there is anything wrong with exploring different beauty options that suit your own tastes. The problem I have is the reasons behind everyone claiming they simply,
